Head Medical are currently recruiting for an Opthamology Registrar to join their client's hospital based on North Island, New Zealand. The successful candidate will join a team of four Consultants who will provide valuable one on one training and extensive on the job teaching in order to progressively develop your career within a short time frame. You will be exposed to a wide variety of conditions, including rare conditions, cancers and diabetes and the management of these conditions. The department provides a general opthamology clinic set-up and provides surgical management of most eye conditions.
Successful candidates will either have general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for Provisional Registration via the 'competent authority pathway' or 'comparable healthcare system pathway'. Candidates must also be able to start the recruitment process immediately to allow for adequate processing times to obtain medical registration and visas. Head medical will assist with the registration and visa application processes right through to the relocation itself.
