Head Medical is seeking post-foundation doctors for an exciting opportunity within General Medicine based in the vibrant and growing city of Hamilton. - Salary: $106,672 – $121,920 NZD (depending on experience)
- 12-month contract, commencing September/ October 2026
The Role
Hamilton’s Waikato Hospital is one of New Zealand’s largest tertiary teaching hospitals, providing local services for 200,000 people and tertiary services for a regional population of approximately 900,000. Waikato has the largest Māori population and the third largest Pacific population in New Zealand
Successful candidates may rotate through specialties including:
- General Medicine, Cardiology, Haematology, Medical Oncology, Medical Reliever
- Renal, Respiratory, Geriatrics, Rheumatology
- Palliative Care, Diabetes, and Neurology
This role is ideal for motivated Resident Doctors with a minimum of 6 months’ General Medicine experience following completion of Foundation Training. You will join a dynamic and supportive team within a fast-paced environment, offering excellent clinical exposure alongside strong learning and professional development opportunities.
