The Role
We’re recruiting for a General Practitioner to join an established bulk billing practice in a suburb of Brisbane. The clinic has been open since 2008 and is GP owned / non-corporate.
The practice currently has 4 general practitioners, this position is to replace an outgoing doctor so you will be busy with patients from day one. Currently they have 14000 registered patients, mostly from a family demographic but it’s fairly mixed.
Full time nursing support, administration team and practice manager. They have visiting Dietician, Podiatrist, Respiratory Care Nurse and on-site Pathology. Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Dentist and Phlebotomy are all located locally.
Practice opening hours are
Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm
Open on bank holidays
• 70% of billings
• Minimum hourly rate of $120ph for 8 weeks
• Weekends 1:4
• Contracted to work 40 hours per week
• 3 year contract preferred
• Expected billings $12,000 per week
To be considered for this position you must have MRCGP and PMETB/JCPTGP or FRACGP or equivalent.
The Location
The practice is situated approximately 20km from Brisbane CBD, located in a busy shopping area and within walking distance to the local railway station. There are a number of schools in the area and excellent transport links to and from Brisbane CBD.
This is an established suburban housing area with good schools, restaurants, banks, supermarkets etc. just 15km from Brisbane CBD.
