The Role
As a Staff or Senior Staff Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will:
- Deliver high-quality clinical care for inpatients and outpatients across Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Participate in emergency after-hours care and outreach services to smaller regional facilities
- Lead and supervise junior doctors and medical students, supporting professional development and workplace-based assessments
- Contribute to service improvement, teaching, audits, and research projects
- Work within a values-driven, collaborative team culture, focusing on patient-centred care and innovation
Requirements:
- Specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or
- Equivalent overseas specialist qualification (CCT – UK, CSCST – Ireland, ABIM – USA, RCPSC – Canada, Vocational Registration – NZ)
- Fellowship (or eligibility) via RANZCOG
- AHPRA registration (or imminent eligibility)
