We are actively seeking interest in a new position as Healthcare Services Manager. Potential candidates should have experience of working as a Healthcare Program Manager, Healthcare Services Manager, Senior Manager or Director in the field of Medical Services. We are specifically interested in candidates who have prior experience in commissioning healthcare services as part of a national strategy, particularly in cancer care. The ideal candidate must have a proven ability to develop and present business cases related to cancer care as this is a key requirement for the role.
To be eligible to apply for this role, you must meet the following criteria –
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field OR Bachelor’s Degree in a non-healthcare-related field plus a master’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare administration, including at least 3 years in managing Clinical Care Services programs OR (for non-healthcare bachelor’s degree holders) a minimum of 10 years experience in healthcare administration, including at least 5 years in managing Clinical Care Services programs.
Key Responsibilities of the Position: -
- Lead and oversee the planning, development, and implementation of healthcare service programs particularly in cancer care.
- Contribute to the commissioning of healthcare services in alignment with national healthcare strategies.
- Develop, analyze and present business cases and service improvement proposals focused on cancer care delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of clinical service delivery and performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement quality improvement initiatives across clinical care services.
- Ensure compliance with national and international healthcare regulations, standards and best practices.
- Provide strategic input to senior leadership on service development and resource allocation.
