Details:
Shetland Walk in Clinic
Mon – Fri 12-8pm and based in Lerwick (the main town)
Less workload than general practice - NO admin, NO home visits etc.
They will have an admin team and you would have protected breaks
Brae Health Centre
Brae has 2400 patients and uses EMIS PCS and DOCMAN. Hours are 8.00-5.30pm Mon - Fri .You will be working alongside another GP and a full time ANP. There is a Pharmacy on site
Lerwick Health Centre
Shetlands main and largest Health Centre
The list size is 8,600 and the Practice has GPs, ANPs, a Physio, Pharmacist Technician and an Admin Team.
You would be mainly doing prebooked clinics most days. Hours 8.00-5.30 Mon - Fri
Levenwick Health Centre
Levenwick Surgery has 2,700 patients and uses EMIS & Docman
You would usually be working alongside another GP and an ANP
Hours are 8.30am-5..30pm Mon - Fri
You would have aprox 24 contacts per day .. made up of Ask my GP, Tel calls and face to face.
Home visits where necessary
