
Recovery Practitioner | Edinburgh
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Recovery Practitioner (Nurse/ODP) to join a well-established private hospital in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality post-anaesthetic care in the recovery area, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Manage airways, pain control, and post-operative monitoring in line with local policies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Adhere to infection prevention, health and safety, and clinical governance standards. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary theatre teams and respond appropriately to emergency situations and airway complications
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Practitioner (ODP or RN with relevant recovery experience)
- Valid HCPC or NMC registration
- Minimum of 18 months recent UK experience in Recovery
- Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
