We have a client currently looking for
** Consultants - Adult Psychiatry - Must be on GMC Specialist Register ***
REMOTE ASSESSMENTS - STARTING ASAP.
**£120 Per hour **
REMOTE ONLY (BASED ANYWHERE IN THE UK) Adult consultants on Specialist Register ready for immediate start and available to offer 10 - 25 hours per week.
They are looking for remote assessments for ADHD, ASD and general psychiatry. ADHD and ASD will make up the vast majority of the work.
In general terms the remote work will be:
For ADHD:
- 60 minute session with a psychologist first which covers the DIVA-5
- 60 minute summary session with a psychiatrist to confirm diagnosis and to initiate prescribing.
- Follow-ups every 3 or 4 weeks and are 30 minutes long, but will likely be done by specialist nurse prescribers.
They work towards Shared Care Agreements after a minimum of three session once titration is complete.
Admin time is included in the times above.
For ASD:
- 60 minute session with a psychologist first
- 60 minute summary session with a psychiatrist to confirm diagnosis.
They also offer combined ADHD and ASD services, which are longer than the above.
For everything else, they would recommend an initial 60 or 90 minute initial assessment and then proceed accordingly.
They do not seek or typically deal with urgent or complex cases.
There is a large, dedicated admin and call handling team.
Reports and notes are submitted electronically and are typed up for approval. They have an online reporting form which can be completed contemporaneously.
