The Role:
The hospital is a state-of-the art facility with 74 beds and is part of a private group renowned for its standard of care on the Island. You will prepare the operating room for the patient, anaesthetist and the surgical team. As the Anaesthetist nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment is available for surgical procedures prior to surgery and to ensure the theatre is maintained to the required standards. In addition, you will also be responsible to ensure adequate levels of stock are maintained and to complete all swab and instrument checks. Other responsibilities include ensuring adequate levels of stock are maintained within theatre and to complete all swab checks and instrument checks in accordance with the company policy.
Requirements:
- You should be eligible or hold a current licence with the Nurse and Midwifery Council of Malta, possess excellent communication and time management skills.
- Be an EU national who is proficient in English
Please note, you may be required to undertake IELTS (academic) to obtain registration with the Nurse and Midwifery Council of Malta
