- Salary $101,492- $137,020 NZD per annum (commensurate with experience)
The Role
Tauranga Hospital is a 359-bed regional hospital offering general and specialist medical services to a population of over 260,000 across the Bay of Plenty. As part of Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand), it works in partnership with Whakatāne Hospital (1 hour away), delivering high-quality care to diverse communities, including a significant Māori population (25.6%).
Rotations within the following are available:
- Mental Health Service for Older People
- Emergency Medicine
- Orthopaedics
- Surgical Relief (broad exposure across multiple surgical subspecialties through short rotations, providing excellent variety and an opportunity to further develop your surgical experience while supporting service delivery)
