Head Medical are seeking enthusiastic Post-Foundation Doctors to join the Paediatric team in Rotorua, New Zealand. This is an excellent opportunity for resident doctors to gain broad paediatric experience while living in a region renowned for its outdoor lifestyle and breath - taking natural beauty.

- Salary $96,870 - $124,574 NZD per annum (commensurate with experience)
The Role
You will join a supportive, multidisciplinary team at Lakes District Health Board, serving a population of 110,000 across Rotorua and Taupō. The role offers a varied case mix across inpatient, outpatient, and community paediatrics, giving excellent exposure for professional development.
You will also contribute to emergency response, theatre, birthing/perinatal care, SCBU, and CAU, working under the guidance of experienced Registrars. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain solid paediatric experience while being part of a vibrant, multicultural team.
The Location

Rotorua is one of New Zealand’s most unique and visually stunning locations, famed for geothermal activity, native forests, and lakes. Although it’s a small city (population ~65,000), it offers a vibrant community with cafés, bars, restaurants, and plenty of recreational opportunities.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love the area for:
