Head Medical are seeking motivated doctors with a minimum of 12 months’ experience in O&G (post-Foundation training) to join a supportive and well-equipped unit in beautiful Northwest Tasmania.
- Work in a vibrant coastal location with pristine beaches, vineyards, and cultural attractions
- Join an experienced multidisciplinary team managing approx. 1,000 births annually
- Salary $134,930 - $189,005 per annum ( commensurate with experience)
The Role
You will join the Department of Health in North West Tasmania, providing comprehensive maternity and gynaecology services across three hospitals. The Maternity unit includes both inpatient care, and postnatal services.
- Gynaecology services include elective and emergency inpatient care, day case surgery, outpatient clinics (including colposcopy), and outreach services to regional centres.
- Supported by a Level 4 Neonatal Unit and 8-bed Level 4 ICU, (High risk births are managed across both Launceston General and Royal Hobart Hospitals).
- Active multidisciplinary education program
