Advance Your Neurosurgical Experience in a High-Acuity Tertiary Centre

Looking to develop your neurosurgical exposure within a structured, consultant-led environment?

Head Medical is seeking Resident Physicians for Neurosurgery opportunities located in Singapore. This is a high-acuity clinical role within a busy tertiary hospital setting.

  • Exposure to a broad range of neurosurgical conditions including trauma, tumour and emergency cases
  • Participation in inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care
  • Theatre exposure assisting in elective and emergency neurosurgery
  • Structured consultant supervision with progressive clinical responsibility
  • Involvement in teaching, audit, and clinical governance activities
  • Salary SGD $80,000 – $120,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

 

The Role

You will be based in a modern, high-volume tertiary services supported by strong multidisciplinary teams and academic partnerships.

  • Integrated multidisciplinary care models
  • Progressive clinical responsibility under consultant guidance

In this Neurosurgery role, you will work under consultant supervision across:

  • Inpatient neurosurgical care
  • Outpatient clinics and assessments
  • Pre- and post-operative patient management
  • Theatre assistance for elective and emergency cases
  • On-call neurosurgical support
  • Teaching, audit, and morbidity & mortality meetings

Requirements

These roles are best suited to doctors currently working at middle-grade level or above, looking to gain structured, supervised experience within a high-volume tertiary healthcare system in Singapore.

To be considered, candidates must:

  • Be eligible for Conditional Registration with the Singapore Medical Council
  • Hold a primary medical qualification recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (Second Schedule)
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant clinical experience in Neurosurgery or a related surgical specialty
  • Be in active clinical practice over the past 3 years
  • Meet English language proficiency requirements (where applicable)
