Head Medical is seeking experienced Resident Physicians for Gastroenterology opportunities located in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across a wide spectrum of GI disease within a world-class public hospital system.
- Exposure to a broad Gastroenterology and Hepatology caseload in a tertiary setting
- Involvement in inpatient, outpatient, and consultative GI services
- Supervised exposure to endoscopy (OGD, colonoscopy, and advanced procedures where appropriate)
- Structured consultant-led environment with progressive clinical responsibility
- Salary SGD $80,000 – $120,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
The Role

In this Gastroenterology role, you will work under direct consultant supervision across:
- Inpatient gastroenterology and hepatology care
- Outpatient clinics and specialist assessments
- Endoscopy exposure (as appropriate to level)
- Multidisciplinary team meetings and ward rounds
- On-call medical duties
- Participation in audit, teaching, and research projects

Requirements
These roles are best suited to doctors currently working at middle-grade level or above, looking to gain structured, supervised experience within a high-volume tertiary healthcare system in Singapore.
To be considered, candidates must:
- Be eligible for Conditional Registration with the Singapore Medical Council
- Hold a primary medical qualification recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (Second Schedule)
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant clinical experience in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine
- Be in active clinical practice over the past 3 years
- Meet English language proficiency requirements (where applicable)
