Nursing job opportunity in beautiful Bermuda!
What we are looking for.....
You will be an experienced nurse Registered Nurse, minimum 2 years post qualification experience, ideally within Palliative Care. This position is based within a Hospice setting in the grounds of the main hospital.
You will be joining an interdisciplinary healthcare team of palliative care specialists providing complete palliative care aimed at relieving symptoms and giving physical, social, emotional and spiritual support to patients.
Excellent English and a Nursing Degree accepted by Bermuda Nurse Council.
You must hold a passport from the UK or another EU Country, USA or Canada in order to obtain a Work Permit.
Qualifications &/ Registration required:
- Registered Nurse with Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Current registration or eligibility for Registration with Bermuda Nursing Council.
- Two years experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current certifications: CPR and I.V
- Experience in Physical assessment essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competencies.
- Nursing Certification in Palliative Care &/or Long-Term Care preferred or a commitment to complete the courses within the first year of employment.
