The Role
The hospital provides high-quality healthcare to the local and regional community and is part of Tasmania’s extensive public health network, which includes major hospitals, community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services.
As a Registered Nurse on the General Medical Ward, you will:
- Deliver safe, quality nursing care in partnership with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Apply NMBA codes and guidelines for registered nurses and midwives.
- Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment with open communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
- Strong clinical assessment skills to monitor patient conditions and identify deterioration.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
