Our client is seeking a Radiology Consultant to fill an outstanding position in Auckland.
The role will be primarily based at their main hospital and one of the largest in the country, an 850 bed public teaching hospital caring for a population of 580,000. The hospital offers a wide range of services to the most diverse population in New Zealand and is located in the South of Auckland (consistently rated as one of the most liveable cities in the world)
The Radiology department is undergoing relocation and expansion and will open two new large facilities over the next three years. he team includes over 50 Radiologists and 14 Registrars. They perform approx 225,000 exams per year across X-Ray, US, Mammography, CT, MRI and Intervention.
They are a friendly and collegial team. They are particularly interested in any Radiologists with experience in Paediatric Radiology but other sub-speciality interests will be considered.
The Medical Council of New Zealand recognises post graduate medical qualifications in Radiology from the UK, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australasia and South Africa.
