Head Medical are looking to speak to candidates who have a passion for Psychiatry and would be keen to develop their experience and explore new ways of working within a unique environment in New Zealand.  You will enjoy an enviable work life balance allowing you the opportunity to explore all that the region has to offer on your days off including beautiful lakes and beaches, mineral pools and outdoor activities to suit all interests.  As well as being close to some amazing beaches, this location is also only 2.5 hours from the ski slopes.

You will gain plenty of one-on-one time and training from Consultants and senior medical staff and have the opportunity to teach RMO's and medical students.

This position will commence in June 2020 and candidates must be able to start the recruitment process immediately.

The successful applicant must either hold general registration or be eligible for provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.  There are different pathways for New Zealand and we can advise you if you are unsure.  Head Medical will also assist you with the medical registration and work visa applications if you are successfully appointed.
