About the Team/Service/ Location

The Nelson Neurology Service is a secondary care service providing specialist neurological assessment and management predominantly in the outpatient setting.

The service operates across two hospital sites:

Patients requiring tertiary-level neurological care are transferred to tertiary centres as appropriate. You will join a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary environment working closely with:

  • General Physicians
  • Specialist Nurses

  • Diagnostic services including radiology and neurophysiology

The Neurology Service works closely with General Medicine teams across both hospital sites to ensure integrated and high-quality care for patients with neurological conditions across the region.
