We are seeking applications for a 0.1FTE Medical Lead Palliative Care.
This leadership position will join the senior leadership team within Te Uru Mātai Matengau, Cancer Screening, Treatment and Support and the successful applicant will lead and develop the palliative care service in the district based in Palmerston North.
Palliative care specialist physicians with proven leadership experience, excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of palliative care and a clear vision on how palliative care services can operate and collaborate across hospital, hospice and community environments are invited to apply.
The successful applicant will be expected to have a substantive position either within the Hospital Palliative Care Team or the Hospice team, with this leadership position in addition to their substantive post.
