Head Medical have an amazing opportunity for a Locum Consultant in Respiratory to work in a state-of-the-art, award-winning district hospital based in stunning Dumfries & Galloway.
The successful Consultant would be vital in assisting to build the Respiratory services. Working with the dynamic, multidisciplinary team to make positive changes so that the Respiratory Medicine at the hospital is continuously improving.
The job plan is flexible and open to negotiation with it being up to a 10PA contract. Discussions on creating a balance between direct clinical care and supporting professional activities to be discusses and agreed between the board and the successful applicant.
Part time applicants are also welcome as well as those wishing to complete the CESR process to gain Specialist registration with the GMC.
The hospital is based in a beautiful rural part of the county with the hills and seaside nearby. There is ample affordable property with good schools and access to a variety of outdoor activities, from mountain biking to sailing.
To be considered for this role you:
- Must hold registration with the General Medical Council or be within 6 months of achieving this at time of interview.
- Have experience at consultant level or comparable.
The job is subject to a police check with salary following NHS pay scales from £84,984 up to £112,925, dependent on experience. Additional allowances may be added for on-call or extra PA’s. Applications from candidates who require a Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship will be considered.
