- Surgery opening hours 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday. 9am - 1pm Saturday
The clinic is located within a shopping centre, serving a densely populated catchment of surrounding suburbs. It is situated close to John Hunter Hospital, the largest tertiary hospital in the region. There are numerous primary and secondary schools in nearby areas.
It is well positioned within the shopping centre and features a clean, modern environment with individually controlled air conditioning in each room. Very good location with potential to grow in the future
It’s a teaching practice for medical students from University of Newcastle and is supported by an experienced practice manager, 2–3 receptionists daily, and a dedicated nursing team with 1 full time RN, 1 part time RN and 1 casual RN. Well known in the community for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
On-site pathology services are available daily. The clinic hosts a physiotherapist one day per week, a dietitian one day every four weeks, and a podiatrist two days per week. A well-equipped Ramsay Pharmacy is located next door, providing convenient access to medications and medical equipment.
Practice offers GPs a strong patient base, high earning potential, and a diverse caseload, supported by modern rooms, on-site pathology, allied health, and a pharmacy next door. Experienced management and nursing staff ensure efficient workflows and high job satisfaction.
Will provide full induction and orientation before the GP starts seeing any patient.
LOCATION
Newcastle is the second largest city in NSW under 2 hours north of Sydney. It sits on the coast and has amazing beaches close to the CBD as well as to the North and South of the city.
It has a rich industrial tradition. It hosts the world’s largest coal export terminal and as such attracts world leading financial and engineering service companies that contribute to its local economy. Schools – both government and private – are excellent with many options. It is also a busy port exporting produce from the nearby famous Hunter Valley vineyards and north west NSW.
There are lots of shopping complexes, several museums as well as an art gallery, which are worth visiting and many other things to do. Nearby there are also a number of nature reserves which are very beautiful offering bushwalking and the chance to see a variety of wildlife. Stockton Beach runs along the coast to Port Stephens and is backed by the wonderful and beautiful sand dunes.
Newcastle offers exactly what Sydney does but on a less expensive scale and without the grind of traffic. The beaches are first class and it has a lively entertainment scene and plenty of great restaurants. Good transport links to Sydney, an airport and good educational facilities make Newcastle a very good option to live, work and play in.
