A GP-owned and led clinic in the eastern Greater Toronto Area is expanding and seeking a Family Physician / General Practitioner to join their supportive and highly experienced team.
This established clinic currently has 4 UK-trained doctors and is opening a second location nearby, offering an excellent opportunity to step into a busy practice with patient demand. Led by a UK-trained GP who understands your journey you will work alongside colleagues who have successfully relocated from the UK and enjoy ongoing peer support, mentorship, and guidance.
The Opportunity
- Join a collaborative, UK-led clinical team who understand the transition to Canadian practice
- Work across two modern, fully integrated clinic sites with linked EMR systems
- Serve a diverse and growing community – Urdu-speaking skills highly desirable due to local population needs
- Combination of Family Health Group (FHG) rostered patients and walk-in care
- Ability to build your patient base quickly while earning from day one through walk-in consultations
- Flexible working to suit your lifestyle, with the option to tailor your session mix
Clinic & Support
- Established clinic with strong patient demand (particularly for urgent care / walk-in services)
- 1:1 MOA (Medical Office Assistant) support per physician
- Online booking system with 10- or 20-minute appointment options (for rostered patients)
- Fully enabled for virtual care, although the focus remains on high-quality face-to-face consultations
- Doctors currently see 25–50 patients per day, depending on their preferred work style
Financial & Contract Details
- Minimum 2-year contract
- Favourable 75% / 25% split (physician / overhead)
- Immediate earning potential through a mix of rostered and walk-in patients
- LMIA or C10 work permit support available
