General Medical Physician

Our client is now looking for a Physician to join their busy and interesting Medical Service in one of the most stunning coastal areas of New Zealand on a full-time basis. The service provides acute medical care in both inpatient and ambulatory clinic settings. You will be joining a team of Physicians all who have subspecialist interests and skills and who work closely together to meet the unique and challenging needs of rural secondary care presentations.

In addition, we seek an individual who has the skills to contribute to the learning culture across undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff, with the support of the clinical school and the University of Auckland. This role is suited to someone who is enthusiastic around service improvement and working in new ways as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for vocational registration with the New Zealand Medical Council or be training in NZ and with 6 months or less of advanced training remaining to achieve FRACP.
