We are seeking Emergency Medicine SHO’s for opportunities in Perth. Broaden your clinical experience while embracing a lifestyle offering soft sand beaches, wineries, and a bustling restaurant scene.

These positions are suited to those possessing a minimum of 12 months Emergency Medicine experience and keen to progress their career within the specialty.

The Role

The hospital is a 367 bed facility with a 48 bed Emergency department.  Presentations to the Emergency Department are circa 75,000 per annum with an admission rate of approximately 30%.  You will join a consultant led team and enjoy a varied case mix providing a broad clinical experience, including, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. There are also a number of training opportunities available including access to Neonatal resuscitation courses and protected teaching time. You will join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team with a welcoming and supportive culture and where possible, you will also have access to non-Emergency Department rotations, which include anaesthetics, intensive care, paediatrics and general medicine

The Location

It’s located along the waters of the Swan River and the west of the city runs along the Indian Ocean. It is the state capital of Western Australia and home to around 2 million people, making it a highly multi-cultural city with a fantastic social scene boasting plenty of alfresco style cafes and restaurants.

Perth is great for families with beautiful beaches to the north and south of the city and the clean, clear coastline attracts many visitors who enjoy snorkelling, sailing, surfing or swimming with the wild dolphins that famously live in the nearby bay areas. It also offers one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world.
