The Clinical Physicist engages in the evaluation, planning, delivery and optimization of radiation treatments. A primary responsibility is the accurate determination and specification of the radiation dosage for each treatment. The treatment planning functions include consultation with the clinician to design treatment plans, the preparation of the technical details for the deliveries, the correct implementation of the treatment plan, and the quality assurance and progress review of the treatment.
You must have:
- Master’s or PhD in Radiation Physics
- Active board certification from American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent
- Proven clinical experience in radiation oncology physics with experience in SBRT, HDR, and other special procedures

- Skilled in C++, Python, Maple, Perl, Matlab, Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Varian TrueBeam and Aria clinical environment
- Able to manage a Physics program in Radiation Oncology as a solo medical physicist
- Experience in American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation and re-accreditation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communications
- Forward thinking, results orientated leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, with all levels, and within a team environment
- Be thoroughly knowledgeable with applicable local regulations and healthcare industry standards
- Ability to perform, interpret, and communicate internal and external dosimetry calculations and measurements
