The centre offers the full range Oncology services with wrap around affiliated services. The Centre is a private facility based in Christchurch, offering chemotherapy, targeted therapy and radiation treatment and is home to New Zealand’s first and only MR Linac. The Centre is dedicated to treating cancer patients through an integrated approach to care – from radiation and chemotherapy/immunotherapy to psychology, nutrition and exercise advice.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a centre with well-established high quality cancer care services with a well-equipped treatment space supported by a highly skilled nursing team and 2 oncology pharmacists. The organisation prides itself on their innovative treatment approach.
Job Description
Work in a small fast-moving multi-disciplinary team so you can expect to take an active role in the full range of clinical activities associated with a busy and progressive Radiation Oncology service.
This position provides an opportunity to have a real impact as they extend access to treatments available to oncology patients in NZ through developing their drug portfolio, whist supporting you to build a private practice.

The successful candidates will:
- Have registration or be eligible to register as a Specialist with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Hold a specialist qualification in Clinical / Radiation Oncology from either the UK, Ireland, U.S, or Australia
