I am currently working as a MOSS Psychiatrist in Northland DHB, based in a community setting and have been doing so for over a year now.
The Head Medical team supported me and my family in making an application for this post and throughout the whole process, including immigration and relocation. Indeed they continue to ‘check in’ at times to ensure that all is going well which is a remarkable service in itself. My experience of the team from initial contact to date is that they have all been professional, welcoming, courteous, driven and extremely knowledgeable, and have done their utmost to ensure that the experience of emigration has been as painless as possible. I have been in somewhat intense contact with them in the lead up to exiting the U.K. and was both grateful and astonished that the team members were universally available at all times of the day and night. At times the process proved extremely stressful/challenging and I am aware that because of my utmost faith in them I asked questions that for most organisations would be far beyond their remit. However, regardless of what was asked of them, the team at Head Medical were inevitably there to find out the answers that I required, and promptly so. In all honesty, there were no questions left unanswered. Additionally they made sure that our relocation progressed smoothly and, as expected, our own experience was nothing short of remarkable. They had negotiated prior to our UK departure the contact/liaison arrangements for myself and my partner such that we were in no way left to flounder on arrival in New Zealand.
Subsequently, they remained in regular contact and when the opportunity arose for them to visit District Health Boards in New Zealand, the team took time out to arrange an informal follow-up meeting not only to request feedback on our progress and experiences with their company, but also to personally ensure that our ongoing wellbeing and needs continued to be met.
In summary, I could not provide a greater recommendation than Head Medical in respect of an organisation who literally guide the process fully and support the applicant completely from initial contact and beyond.
