I was introduced to the services of Head Medical in 2011 whilst attending the BMJ Careers Fair held every year in Islington, London.
The team were extremely helpful in providing information about GP and Specialist posts available overseas, including the Middle East, Far East, and Australasia. In respond to the interest I showed in possibly working overseas, sometime soon, they regularly sent me information about positions they had available.
In October 2011 they sent me details of two interesting posts in Central Asia and, in response to my queries, they gave me all the relevant information, answered all my questions quickly and accurately, and put my application forward to the relevant people in an efficient and competent manner.
As a result, within a matter of weeks I had been interviewed, appointed to the position, and had departed for a GP position in a private medical clinic in the capital city of Tajikistan, Dushanbe.
They negotiated my salary and terms, took all my requests into consideration, and supported me by asking that my requirements be fully met if I was to stay in that post for a minimum long term - or at least for a 12 month period. It was all done in a timely manner, efficiently, and to my complete satisfaction.
I highly recommend Head Medical and would allow them to place me in a post again, in the future, anywhere in the world that they have posts available - without a moment of hesitation.
