We are pleased to announce that Maltas largest private hospital are now looking to recruit Theatre Anaesthetic nurses for a 12 month contract. In this nursing role, you will prepare the operating room for the patient, setting up the tools and making sure the field is sterile. It is the duty of the scrub nurse to assist the surgical team by donning sterile masks, gloves and gowns as well as aid the physician by passing instruments during surgery. It is essential to maintain a high standard of nursing care. The role should be carried out in professional manner and in accordance with St James Hospital protocols and consultants’ preferences.
You will need:
- Recognised degree in nursing (UK or EU)
- Eligible to register with Midwifery Council of Malta
- Extensive knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Knowledge of emergency care
- Minimum of 12 months experience working as a Registered Nurse
Benefits:
- Up too €22,653 per annum based on experience
- Entitled to a Shift Allowance of up to €4,900.00 per annum, payable monthly.
