About the Role

An opportunity exists for a Specialist Anaesthetist who holds FFPMANZCA (or equivalentoverseas qualification in Pain Medicine), or a specialist Anaesthetist who can demonstrate an interest in Pain Medicine, to join the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Health New Zealand, Bay of Plenty.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Tauranga with a commitment to supporting services across the Bay of Plenty, including Rotorua and Whakatāne.

For the right candidate, a part-time position of no less than 30 hours can also be considered.

You will join a department and location that are experiencing growth. As a team member with a commitment providing a Pain Service across the Bay of Plenty, you will participate in all other parts of the service provision including providing care for all age groups, afterhours service, Obstetrics and Acute Care.
