About the Job

Our client has a rare opportunity for a Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist to join their team long term in the capital of New Zealand, Wellington. A minimum commitment of a 1 year fixed term position could also be considered. 

The employer has been providing Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Stroke rehabilitation services in New Zealand for over 20 years and is the only ACC contracted intensive rehabilitation provider for Traumatic Brain Injury in the North Island. More about the employer:

We offer the following services in both Auckland and Wellington: Intensive inpatient rehabilitation, Residential supported living and Community rehabilitation. Including:

We also provides services under contract for:

  • ACC
  • The Ministry of Health (MoH)
  • District Health Boards (DHB)
  • Private insurers and private funders.

We employ around 300 staff with specialist training in rehabilitation and a single-minded focus on achieving outcomes. Please note, due to licensing requirements, only candidates who completed their medical specialist training in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the U.S or Canada can be considered.
