Head Medical are pleased to be working with Guernsey to assist in the recruitment of a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within their Substance Misuse Service. The successful applicant will work within the community drug and alcohol team with clients in a variety of settings.

Your duties and responsibilities will include assisting the Band 6 senior nurses plan, prepare and carry out detoxification in the community and peoples homes and inpatient detoxification if required. You will also assist with the titration and stabilisation of opiate substitute medication. To facilitate and co-facilitate groups for services users in recovery. To coordinate complex care plans through communication with multidisciplinary team members and associated agencies.
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
- Current registration with the NMC
- Current valid driving license
- Some experience working with service uses with alcohol or substance misuse
