Agency nurses required in and around the Scottish Borders - General Medical wards

Your Responsibilities:
- Promoting, assessing and providing excellent standards of care;
- Providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients;
- Performing diagnostics, procedures and treatments, and ensuring the correct equipment is available;
- Following procedures, protocols and regulations in a general medical ward.
- Observing, reporting, and recording information on patient care;
- Managing medical records and ensuring adherence to data protection legislation;
- Sharing best practices with colleagues;
- Establishing effective communication channels with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration with no restrictions.
- Minimum of 18 months experience working within a general medical ward.
- Knowledge of clinical procedures, processes, protocol, and standards;
- Patient-oriented, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
- Adherence to professional, ethical, and legal requirements;
