Our client who runs a very respected medical clinic in Hanoi, is now looking for a Specialist Gastroenterologist to join their team. Many foreign visitors make use of their services and their doctors speak English as one of their languages.
Job Summary
- Examining patients, collecting medical histories, reviewing and interviewing imaging and laboratory reports.
- Diagnosing and treating GI disorders including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive diseases
- Perform investigative endoscopic procedures such as Gastroscopies and Colonoscopies
- Keeping up to date with the latest research and treatment in the field
Gastroenterology experience required:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Current medical license in the state of practice
- 4+ years of experience as a Specialist Gastroenterologist
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Empathetic and caring in nature
The applicant must have a thorough knowledge of the pharmacology of the agents used for sedation and experience in sedating patients during procedures.
Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 44 hours a week.

If candidates are not native English speakers, they will need to pass a Medical English test, which is given a few times a year in Hanoi.
