Our client has great new long term opportunities for 2 full time physicians to join their specialised Pain Medicine clinics in Ontario. They are a highly skilled and mixed team of healthcare professionals that is comprised of specialized pain physicians, pharmacists, ancillary providers and psychotherapists.
The organisation is highly sympathetic to the fact chronic pain can get in the way of people`s lives, everything from relationships, to work, and day-to- day activities, and that chronic pain does not affect each person the same way.
They develop personalized care plans for every patient, with the belief that treating chronic pain mandates focus on the patient, not the disease. They recognise the significant impact chronic pain has on the thousands of patients in their practices, and vowed to create clinics which addresses the complexities of chronic pain using multi-modal treatment strategies, ensuring optimal pain relief and functioning for patients.
Requirements for the role:
- Must come from a Specialist / Consultant Anaesthesia background, AND have Fellowship training in Pain Medicine, including Interventional Pain Medicine expertise
- OR a GP / Family Medicine background, but has completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship and has expertise in Interventional Pain Medicine
- Only Doctors who completed their Specialist training in either the UK (with CCT) the U.S (with American Board Certification) Canada (with FRCPC) or Australia or New Zealand (with Australasian Fellowship) can be considered for the positions.

Locations:
Etobicoke - can accommodate up to 2 full-time physicians
Mississauga - can accommodate up to part-time to full-time equivalent (2-3 days per week)
Physician(s) can work at either or both sites, depending on preference
