About the Role

A rare opportunity exists for an Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora - Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.

The position is based at Whakatāne, with a commitment to supporting services across the Bay of Plenty.

We are looking for a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon who is a generalist with an interest in lower limb arthroplasty surgery to support the current team providing this service. The successful candidate will participate in providing acute care, including the afterhours call roster.
