ORTHOPAEDIC CONSULTANTS (2 FTE) AUCKLAND

We are currently seeking Orthopaedic Consultants with comprehensive advanced training in the subspecialty areas of paediatrics, foot/ankle and arthroplasty to join our team in 2024. The ideal applicants will have had at least fellowship training in these subspecialty areas.
The Orthopaedic Service offers secondary paediatric and adult elective and acute services, while also providing tertiary level care in the areas of acute spinal cord impairment, pelvic trauma and mangled limb service in partnership with the Plastic Surgery department. It is a recognised training facility for medical staff providing a wide range of orthopaedic subspecialties.
By concentrating on providing high quality treatment for patients both in an inpatient and outpatient setting, the service is committed to ensuring the on-going achievement of high level clinical standards providing innovative world class treatments to our community.
Essential:
- Applicants will be FRACS qualified or equivalent and will have the ability to cover trauma
- Eligible to register or registered in a vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZMC
