Auckland, New Zealand is currently seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) with an interest in the Cardiac Catheter Lab.
We are looking for a motivated, organised, team player to join our team, and full training will be provided. We can offer a full-time position. There are opportunities to work across multiple modalities in Radiology if desired.
We have two dedicated Cardiac Catheter lab suites - this unit operates weekdays only with no on-call. We have the latest technology including OCT, IVUS, Siemens ICONO + Artis Q, Sensis vibe ECG/haemodynamic monitoring.
Our Cath lab MRT role is unique within the New Zealand public health service. It has been extended to include independent monitoring of patient vitals, ECG and haemodynamic system. In addition to managing radiation equipment and operating intra-coronary imaging modalities we also document electronic procedure logs. This results in a dynamic, interesting, engaging and essential role within the team providing a uniquely rewarding experience.
