Our client is an innovative private centre offering high quality cancer care services based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We believe Christchurch is one of the great cities of the world. About us

We offer the full range Oncology services with wrap around affiliated services. Because of our size, we are able to truly place our patients at the centre of our health service with a well-equipped treatment space supported by a highly skilled nursing team and 2 oncology pharmacists. We pride ourselves on our innovative treatment approach and are currently undertaking a major equipment replacement programme including the installation and commissioning of a MR-Linac.

Job Description

We're a small fast-moving multi-disciplinary team so you can expect to take an active role in the full range of clinical activities associated with a busy and progressive medical oncology service.

This position provides an opportunity to have a real impact as we extend access to treatments available to oncology patients in NZ though developing our drug portfolio, whist supporting you to build a private practice.

The successful candidates will:

  • Have registration or be eligible to register with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Hold a specialist qualification in Medical Oncology from either the UK, Ireland, U.S, or Australia
