Experienced SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Superb opportunity in this specialised field
This is an expanding Maxillofacial Department which undertakes the full range of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery services.
There is a large volume of routine oral surgical referrals and maxillofacial trauma. Special interests of the department include Head and Neck Oncology, Oral and Facial Reconstruction, Facial Deformity – including Cleft Lip and Palate problems, and Oral and Craniofacial Implants.
Due to expansion we are looking for an SHO to join the team as soon as possible and will be particularly involved in performing dento-alveolar surgery and working in the Outpatient Department both at the hospital and in peripheral clinics.
The timetable will be agreed to reflect the demands of the service and the needs of the post holder, however, you would be expected to work flexibly.
Support and encouragement in developing a special interest will certainly be given.
The successful applicant will be required to hold full GMC registration
