Job Description: As a CAMHS Nurse at Brisbane Children's Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care to children and adolescents with complex health and mental health needs. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health status
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patients' progress and responding to changes in their condition
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other specialists to ensure integrated care delivery
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration in the UK
- Experience working as a CAMHS Nurse in a paediatric or adolescent healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
