The Practice…
This busy Canberra medical centre is an accredited practice designed to meet the needs of the local community and surrounding areas. They offer a wide range of services including family medicine, skin cancer surgery, work injury management / WorkCover, and occupational health services such as pre-employment medicals and return to work assessments.
All patients are privately billed for consultations, and we provide online bookings and same day appointments.
The clinic is open 7 days per week.
The Role…
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide patient centered and integrated care in accordance with generally accepted practices and procedures determined by appropriate authorities, for example but not limited to, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and Medicare Australia.
The practice employs a team of highly competent GPs, nursing and administration staff, who are overseen by onsite operational and clinical management support.
Skills and experience
Responsibilities
Diagnosis and management of wide range of general practice presentations
Conduct clinical assessments, evaluations, and minor surgical procedures
Referrals and liaison with other medical specialists and health care professionals
Prescribe, review and renew prescription medications
Accurately document consultations

FRACGP / ACCRM and / or relevant postgraduate qualification in General Practice (FRACGP, FRNZCGP, MICGP or CCFP)
Medical Indemnity Insurance appropriate for practice in General Practice within New South Wales
Supportive and empathetic communication skills
A proactive, focused approach to health care service delivery
Time management and ability to prioritise deadlines
