Client
Our client is seeking a full time Family Practitioner to join them at their clinic situated 40 minutes from Downtown Toronto. The clinic has been established for 3 years and has 6 treatment rooms, 1 minor surgery room 
and a pharmacy on site.
Package
- Fee for service split with 70% of billings
- High earning potential
- 3 years minimum contract
Working Conditions
The clinic is opening Monday – Saturday (Mon – Thursday 9am – 7pm, Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 2pm). Ideally, they are looking for a GP to work 35 hours per week, over 5 days. Weekend and out of hour rota required.
Location of Clinic
The clinic is situated in the picturesque town Bolton, Caledon, a community location roughly 50KM northwest of Toronto. Bolton is the most populous community in Caledon and has the most amenities. The proximity to Toronto makes Caledon a hotbed for new residents as it is the best of the city and urban living with costs being significantly lower that other areas in Greater Toronto. When it comes to exploring the great outdoors, you won’t be short of something to do, as Caledon is home to many parks, conservation areas, trails and beautiful natural settings.
Education
For families moving to Caledon Area of Ontario, the area is home to elementary, middle and secondary schools, both public and private options and some further education institutions.
Registration Requirements
Doctors must hold MRCGP, MICGP, FRACGP, FACRRM or ABFM. Or if you currently hold a license to practice in Canada, you are eligible to apply.
In order to obtain a license to practice, doctors must sit the MCCQE Part 1 exam.
