The location
The practice is located 30 minutes north of Adelaide City Centre. Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and has a population of 1.25 million people and is consistently listed in the Top 10 of the Economist’s world’s most liveable cities. With Sydney ranking as the most expensive Australian city and Adelaide as number 6, GPs will be able to live an excellent standard of living, pay less for your property and save (or spend) more than you could in most of the other main cities. Adelaide is known for its festival scene and has an envious festival calendar to rival any other Australian City. Enjoy beautiful beaches on your doorstep where you can swim with dolphins and learn to sail at Glenelg, one of the city’s best beaches which is lined with cafes and restaurants. Or be a regular visitor to the famous McLaren Vale wine region and enjoy all the benefits of living in a Mediterranean climate surrounded by the Adelaide’s beautiful rolling green hills.
What Head Medical can do for you
Arranging a position overseas is very exciting, but we understand that it can also be daunting and time consuming. We’re the UK’s specialist in international medical recruitment and we’ve helped many Doctors relocate since we first started out in 2008 (you can read what people have said about working with us on our testimonials page). We know it’s important to balance career opportunities with lifestyle and we’ll talk through your plans and will get to know you to make sure we find the right role in the right location.
Once we have secured a job for you, we’ll manage the Medical Registration and Visa application process, and support you (and your family) with the relocation itself.
