We have an exciting opportunity for a GP to join a group of practices based only 20 minutes from Hobart City Centre.

The Role
- 65% billings
- Relocation package between $5,000-$8,000 AUD
- Flexible contract length
- No weekend work – flexible work schedules
- Busy practice with strong and growing patient base
The Practice
Open Monday to Friday the practice has been delivering high quality, patient-centred care for over 30 years and is currently made up of 5 GPs, nurses, and admin staff. Pathology, Physiotherapy, Audiology, Exercise Physiology and Dietician services are also on-site.
There is scope to gain experience in a wide range of clinical interests while working in a highly supportive and collegiate work environment.
The Location
The practice is located in Lauderdale, a suburb only 20 minutes from the heart of Hobart. Lauderdale is popular for those wanting a quiet lifestyle without moving far from the city and is nearby to beautiful coastal reserves and secluded beaches. The clinic is walking distance from local cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy your lunch breaks by the beach.
However, for those who prefer city living, Hobart is only a short distance away. Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania is nestled between the towering beauty of Mt Wellington and the broad spread of the Derwent River. Hobart knows how to combine the old with the new as it combines the advantages of a modern city with a more relaxed lifestyle of a smaller city. With scattered cobblestone streets that punctuate the city, busy markets and historic sandstone warehouses that are home to new cafes and galleries, Hobart exudes charm.
What Head Medical can do for you
Arranging a position overseas is very exciting, but we understand that it can also be daunting and time consuming. We’re the UK’s specialist in international medical recruitment and we’ve helped many Doctors relocate since we first started out in 2008 (you can read what people have said about working with us on our testimonials page). We know it’s important to balance career opportunities with lifestyle and we’ll talk through your plans and will get to know you to make sure we find the right role in the right location.
Once we have secured a job for you, we’ll manage the Medical Registration and Visa application process, and support you (and your family) with the relocation itself.
