We are looking for a GP to join a well-established group of practices located in the beautiful city of Darwin, where unlike other major cities in Australia, international GPs can enjoy working in a DPA location in the City Centre.

  • Up to 65% of mixed billings
  • Minimum earning guarantee for 1st 3 months
  • Relocation allowance
  • Modern clinics with established patient base
  • DPA and Visa sponsorship
  • PEP Location

The Position

Our client has 4 practices across suburban Darwin and due to continued growth in patient numbers they are looking for additional GPs to join the team.  They currently have 27 doctors working across all 4 practices, supported by a team of allied health professionals, nurses and a great administrative and managerial team.

All clinics are open 7 days per week, Mon – Fri 8am – 9pm, Sat & Sun, 9am – 6pm and on Public Holidays 10am – 4pm. Thus, a flexibility at working some after hours and weekends is required.

Special interest in skin cancer or dermatology is encouraged at these practices.

The Location

If you want to avoid the winter gloom then Darwin, with its tropical climate is the place to be. Darwin, the capital city of Australia's Northern Territory has a population of almost 150,000. Perched at the tip of the Australian continent, Darwin is closer to Asia than it is to Sydney. Its proximity to Asia is evident in Darwin’s multicultural food and internationally famous markets. Darwin’s waterfront precinct is host to waterfront restaurants, shops, safe swimming lagoons for all the family, outdoor cinema and harbour cruises.

If you're looking for the great outdoors, Darwin has it all: beaches, parks, springs, hiking, diving, and natural wonder in every form. Darwin has great beaches close to the city and for those times when you can’t go in the water there is plenty of popular freshwater swimming spots nearby, such as Howard Springs, Berry Springs and Manton Dam. If thrill seeking is more up your street, then you can if you dare, cuddle a baby crocodile and wander around enclosures at Crocosaurus Cove which is home to some of Australia’s biggest saltwater crocodiles. Or you could turn it up another notch and join the jumping crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River where, from the safety of a boat, experience the thrill of seeing crocodiles leaping from the water.
