Our client is looking for GPs to join their busy, well-established practice 25 mins from Cairns.
The Role
- Mixed Billing
- 65% mixed billings
- Relocation packages available depending on length of contract
- Minimum guarantee $150 p.h. for first 3 months
- DPA/ PEP Approved
- Flexible contracts
The Practice
This well-established practice has been operating since 1993. It is currently made up of 2 GPs, 2 registrars, 2 nurses, admin staff and allied health including Diabetes Educator, Clinical Psychologist and Podiatrist.
The practice is made up of 5 consulting rooms and 1 treatment room with plans to expand to meet patient demand. All doctors are currently fully booked with waiting times between 1 -3 weeks.
Open Monday – Friday 8:30am -6pm, with a late evening on Thursdays (7pm) and Saturday 8:30am-12pm.
The Location
The practice is located in Gordonvale, a rural sugar-growing town on the southern side of Cairns, 25 minutes from the City Centre.
Gordonvale is a rapidly growing town that has been promoted from small country town to suburb of Cairns. With a population of just under 7,000 this charming and quaint town is centred around a park along the Mulgrave River.
It is a commutable distance to Cairns for those who would prefer to live within the city.
Cairns is a laidback city best enjoyed outdoors. It is home to the unforgettable Great Barrier Reef and Wet tropics world heritage rainforest that is over 100 million years old and home to the famous Curtain Tree Fig. Cairns, the gateway to the Tropical North is one of Queensland most adventurous cities where you can snorkel through coral gardens, sail to nearby tropical islands, visit the Kurunda Koala Gardens or connect to local culture through local Indigenous people, watching traditional performance and exploring new artwork.
