The overnights in the A&E Dept working alone (They have a GP working in OOH covering the rural cover) you will have ANP's and Nurses and would be covering casualty and primary emergency care and doing any local home visits if required (triaged by NHS 24)
In the daytime they have 2 doctors on. One working in Primary care, covering the Ward and any home visits, the other working in Casualty seeing patients.
PCEC shifts are for Ward/GP, NHS 24 calls and home visits but must have A&E experience as you could be asked to assist in A&E if required.
** Accommodation provided ** (for GP;s covering overnights there is a private GP room with a bed/shower etc, a room can be booked for Dr;s working dayshifts if covering a day or two at a time & available)
