Due to continuous and success of GP owned group, requirements in the Newcastle suburbs for experienced GPs with MRCGP or equivalent.
- Mixed billing practice
- 65% guaranteed rate for first 3 months equal to $120 an hour
- Drive to Newcastle CBD in half an hour
- Drive to Sydney in 2 hours
The company has plans for future expansion which will allow GPs to transfer between practices and have the flexibility of cover within the group in order to maintain patient base and provide consistent medical care.
The areas have a choice of schooling and transport links to the cities. population continues to grow with a number of housing developments in progress and in the pipeline.
The Role
GP required to work in practice alongside existing staff.
Allied Health services in Town include Physiotherapist, Pathology, Chiropractor, Dentist and Dietitian,
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5, Tuesday open to 6. Saturday 9- 12
- Procedure room plus pathology
- Computerised practice
- The ten year moratorium will be reduced to nine years

Practice is located in the town centre, close to major shopping centre and pharmacy in Medowie. There is a new housing development in the area and 3 schools. Town includes a Dentist and shopping precinct. Located near to a Royal Australian Air Force base, and home to a large number of personnel working there.
A popular location for families and sports enthusiasts. Proximity to Newcastle makes it an ideal location to experience the Australian lifestyle and have easy access to the city of Newcastle and the Marinas of Port Stephens.
The nearest hospitals are the Calvary, Mater and John Hunter hospitals in Newcastle to the south west and Maitland Hospital to the north-west. All three are approximately 20–30 minutes driving time from the town
